What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is the practise of the realignment of the musculoskeletal system to relieve the stresses on the body that lead to pain and ill health.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the ancient form of medicine that recognises health as an interaction of the body between its environment and lifestyle. Fine (disposable) needles are inserted into specific points on the body to redress imbalances that lead to ill health.
What will it cost per treatment and for the initial consultation?
Initial consultations are free and last for 15 minutes; subsequent prices vary. Click here for our current price list or please call the clinic.
What will happen in my appointment?
Will my treatment hurt?
Am I too old or too young? or too young?
Should I visit a GP first?
Your GP may refer you to the Silver Grey Clinic (if you are a private health plan holder your policy may cover the cost of your treatment- see below). As a private clinic you can refer yourself and discuss your symptoms before you commit to treatment. If you are not sure what type of treatment is appropriate please call to discuss with our receptionist.
What if I have private medical insurance?
We are registered with many private medical providers; please speak to your GP for a referral via your own medical insurance supplier or call them direct to find out whether your treatment is covered by your policy.
I was experiencing middle/lower back pain, called and spoke to Scott who fitted me in the same day! What an awesome bloke, firstly so knowledgeable and skilful, went in feeling 90+ years old, after a few manipulations and working his magic I came out feeling younger than 20. Decided on monthly appointments now to see if I can get down to feeling less than 16. Excellent location, plenty of parking, professional setup, well priced and brilliant service. Highly recommended.
